Chaotic-DNA system for efficient image encryption

In order to prevent unwanted access sensitive data by unauthorized individuals, color images are encoded. Because chaotic-deoxyribonucleic acid (chaotic-DNA) encoding can make information highly secure, it is often employed in image encryption. this study, a new encryption technique has been proposed based on 4D-chaotic system and DNA computing. The algorithm consists of two phases: the first phase, pixel positions permuted chaotic sequences. second according concept cryptography, set operations (like addition, XOR, subtraction, shift right, left) performed sequence. performance suggested evaluated through analyses like correlation coefficient, entropy, histogram, key space. results show that method was exhibited good high security. For encrypted images, histogram fairly uniform, values between adjacent pixels very small close zero, entropy near ideal value eight. large space equal 2627 keys, which makes resistant brute-force, differential, statistical attacks.
